Payments are made through PayPal which accepts all major credit and debit cards. For reservations more than 60 days in advance, personal checks on U.S. banks are also accepted.
All rates are in U.S. Dollars and are subject to Hawaii State Transient Accommodations Tax and Excise (Sales) Tax (13.962% total).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
Reservations at our Malaekahana home require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation. We must receive the balance (payment in full) 40 days prior to your arrival or your reservation is subject to cancellation without refund of your initial deposit.
REFUND POLICY: If you need to cancel your reservation we cannot guarantee a refund. If we can re-rent some or all of your reserved time period we will refund you 90% of what we receive. Last minute cancellations have very little chance of a refund.
If you are at all uncertain about your travel plans we highly recommend obtaining trip insurance. Trip insurance can protect you from loss due to cancellations for many reasons and can protect your investment in Airline tickets, lodging (BeachRentalsOahu) and more. We recommend InsureMyTrip.com since they offer competitive quotes from multiple companies.
If for any reason, including an Act of God, we are unable to honor your reservation, we agree to refund all amounts paid to us within 10 days of the date that we notify you that your reservation will be cancelled. In no event will our liability exceed the total amount of rent and taxes paid to us.
You agree to the following conditions while staying at our property:
You will abide by all local, state and federal laws
You will not have more persons at the house, neither overnight nor as guests for a party or event than as stated on your invoice from us. If not stated otherwise, the normal house limit is 10 persons.
You agree to leave the house locked at all times when you are not occupying the home. (this is for your safety also)
You agree to pay for repair or replacement of any property or items damaged during your stay.
You agree not to leave items such as boogie boards, kayaks, etc. unattended on the beach.
